Throne of Glass

I know what you're thinking. WHAT?! TWO REVIEWS IN ONE DAY? Yup, you're eyes aren't tricking you. But they may be tricking mine......

Is this book really a reverse harem? Not exactly, but it's very close (Darnit, Nox, why did you just have to be a friend?!?!?! Wait, I think tha was his name...) However, the protagonist does have two men who have the hots for her and with a triology, there will hopefully be another. BUT WAIT. A DEAD SOMETHING-MORE-THAN-A-FRIEND FROM THE PAST?! IS HE ACTUALLY A-

Anyways, Throne of Glass is about the known world's greatest assassin named Celaena Sardothian. She's been imprisoned in a labor camp where the typical person dies within two months. She's lasted a year. One day, she Celaena gets called by the prince who wants her to participate in a competition where others like her compete to win the title as the King's lap dog champion. If she refuses the offer, she'll remain at the prison camp, but if she accepts and wins Celaena will have to be at the king's beck and call for 6 (I think) years. Celaena isn't stupid and takes up the job, wondering how she will stand the man who conquered her old home and threw her into that hell-hole they call camp. With the prince constantly teasing her and the captain of the royal guard protecting her, the former assassin will fight to become the Champion and perhaps even find something she's never found before in the form of a foreign princess: a friend. But when the contest takes the dark turn, Celaena will have to find out what's taking out the competitors before it takes out herself. There is something dark and evil deep within the castle. And she may be their only hope.

Or something like that. Idk, but that's pretty much how it is. And I didn't mean for it to sound cheesy....

But the plot is a-ma-zing. After all the crap I've been reading these days, Throne of Glass is a refreshing change of pace. It's not overly layering its romance to a suffocating level but leaves you just enough to make your toes curl (my heart just doesn't beat like crazy at kissing scenes. Is that weird?). You get your action and Celaena is easy to relate to. Big surprise, I mean world's greatest assassin being compared to world's unnoticable girl? Ya right. Btw, there is magic. Nobobdy can resist magic. Or demon-like creatures. Or beating up demon-like creatures. Heo yah.

And now for the characters:
  • I. Love. This. Heroine. Celaena Sardothian is the known world's greatest assassin, but was captured because of betrayal and put to work at the salt mines. She hasn't lost herself and is like any normal girl...except for the fact that she's an assassin. Very witty and cunning, Celaena is not only fast, agile, accurate, and skilled in weapons but also a killer with brains making her a deadly opponent. So basically, that makes her kick-ass, tough-as-nails protagonist who's still true to herself and still enjoys what life has to offer. Btw, she loves her books and dresses. Did I mention that I love her?
  • The Prince Charming is really cute. Dorian Havilliard is the heir to the throne but has a tense relationship with his ever power seeking father. More of a scholar than a warrior, Dorian loves to read good books. (Oh my gosh, a smart and handsome prince) He isn't fond of his spoiled younger brother or his mother's never ending quest to find him a bride but warms up to a sarcastic assassin instead. He is childhood friends with the Captain, Chaol Westfall and eventually changes from an apathetic prince to wanting to become something great. He's really a sweetheart and a very likable character. He's so freakin cute.
  • OUR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR, Chaol Westfall is the first person we meet in the book after Celaena. He isn't fond of Dorian risking his life with the world's greatest assassin, but doesn't complain. At first, Chaol tried to keep his distance but eventually Celaena earns his respect and they later become friends. He also enjoys reading a good book but just doesn't have the time. You will just adore him. HE'S JUST SO ADORABLE AND A TOTAL SWEETHEART.
  • Then comes our lady friend, Nehemia Ytger. She's a foreign princess from Ellywe that was sent to learn the customs of Adalarn (something like that, I forgot the country's name) and possibly to become Dorian's bride. Celaena and her befriend each other because of mutual like. In the end, you will love her. She's not there just to fill in a best friend void. No, she's here to play a part. QUICK, THE WORLD IS ENDING! The best friend actually plays a CRUCIAL role!

Sorry for the lame profiles but I guess some is better than none.

And, oh my gosh, what I love about the romance in this book is that you don't know who Celaena will end up with. Dorian AND Chaol get their fair share of momments. And trust me, you will debate who you want to end up with Celaena. IT'S SO HARD.

But in a nutshell, Throne of Glass is an book with a great plot that utilizes its characters and includes romance to an appropiate point. There is mystery and magic that you want to explore. What is killing the other contestants and who is this person who appears in Celaena's dreams (though the latter is easily answered)? ToG has an easy to relate to female heroine and you will spend an entire night just to finish it! Or at least I did... Be sure to read its sequal, Crown of Midnight, and its four prequals. More books are to appear in the series. I hope you enjoy!

Tokyo Crazy Paradise

GUYS, I'M ACTUALLY BAAAAACK!!! But that's not what I'm here for. Now for the review.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise is about Japan in the future (I promise, the whole in-the-future stuff is just a coincidence. I don't have a fetish). In this future, it's not uncommon for females to be sexually assaulted by men, so to keep Tsukasa safe, her mom raised her up as a boy. After her parents died doing their duty, Tsukasa and her three brothers are stuck on the streets. To make matters worse, Tsukasa has to work as a bodyguard to pay off a huge fine to a young yakuza boss who will do everything to keep her by his side. But what's with that style of fighting? Could there be more to Tsubasa that meets the eye?

Okay, guys, I'm not gonna lie. The other two guys come later in the story and it really focuses on Ryuji (Sandaime is what everyone calls him) and Tsukasa but....IT STILL COUNTS. THE OTHER TWO GUYS LIKE HER TOO SO IT HAS REVERSE HAREM QUALITIES. But the plot, humor, and action makes it worth reading.

Plot-wise...I love it. You never know what happens next. Well, okay, maybe you do but that's not the point. When, I first started reading TCP, I thought it focused on humor and Tsukasa's relationship with Sandaime, but in the end there was more. I won't say anything, but this...Did not see that coming!

Humor.....Omg, Tsukasa and Sandaime are always so funny together. Tsukasa is already so funny, but then you have Sandaime force-feeding her and making her break stuff to increase the debt. Not only that but his face while doing all that so freakin' straight, it's funny. I laughed so much....

Tsukasa is an awesome protagonist. She holds justice high but is strong at the same time. I love seeing her fight! She looks so cool when she does! She. Kicks. Butt.

Okay, as for guys, you obviously have Sandaime. Nobody can resist him. I'm serious, I loved the guy. He's such a great match for Tsukasa! But as the story develops, you have a cop who's very caring, insanely strong, and who has an uncanny ability to recognize anybody after seeing them once. Then...the enemy. I'm not gonna lie, he's hot. But...ya.....You learn to love (yet hate) him anyways. All the guys are handsome. There's you're reverse harem.

If the art looks familiar, it's because the mangaka of Skip Beat also wrote TCP. In my opinion, TCP is better but that's just me. See if you like it! Even if it wasn't a reverse harem towards the end, Tokyo Crazy Paradise is worth reading.

Basara

Okay, so weekly update plan sooooooooooooooo failed. Oh well, what can you say? I've decided that my reviews seem long and I can't give out much recommendations because I don't want to write them. Why? Because the are so. Fricking. Long.

This is why I will make my reviews SHORTER. Thus, giving out MORE recommendations. Thus, having MORE fun. Thus, actually DOING something with this. Thus,......idk. But ima shorten this shit and actually give you reverse harem recommendations. YES! Plus, I can detail reviews later when I'm still searching. You understand how hard it is to find all these things, right? Good ones, no less.

BUT ANYWAYS a while ago, I read this wicked manga called Basara (Cue the eyerolling. It's the title of this entry. I know) and well......IT'S A REVERSE HAREM. WHOO! I was just reading it for the plot but....hey. More guys=more choices. And I like choices. Basara is probably the first romance manga that I've just stumbled across and found out that was actually an ANIME made based on it. Granted, the anime is old and only has like 13 episodes (which does absolutely NOTHING to the deep, plot-twisting, page-turning, 100+ chapter manga) but it looks pretty decent.

Now, it's been quite a while since I've read Basara but instead of just ripping off the summary like I usually do, I'm going to give you my summary.

Many years after the world survived an apocalypse, Japan has turned back to a system of kings. During that time, a baby dubbed "Boy of Destiny" was prophesied to unite all of Japan together. However, Sarasa, the female twin of the "Boy of Destiny", must fill in the void her brother left when the Red King kills him. Sarasa, fueled with her motive for revenge, journeys over Japan to gain allies to defeat the Red King, but she eventually finds out that maybe there is a bigger cause to fight than to get just mere revenge for her brother and village. Maybe what she is fighting for is not to right the past but to better the future.

That was my poor excuse of a summary, but what can I say?

The reason I'm mentioning this manga/anime? Well I'm glad you asked! The reason is:

a.) Awesome story. Did not see some of the plot twisters coming, the pacing is good, character development is superb, and, omg, THE FEELS. You will understand me once you READ IT

b.) GET YOU'RE OTOME PROSPECTS RIGHT HERE. ONLY 3 LEFT IN STOCK! THE ELEGANT, EVER-SUPPORTING FRIEND THAT YOU CAN DEPEND ON! OR MAYBE YOUR TYPE IS THE MANIPULATIVE BITCH GUY THAT'S ACTUALLY DECENT IN THE END? BUT WAIT! A COCKY, KINDA-CUTE-ACTUALLY, SWEETHEART-IN-THE-END TYPE? OHMYGOSH. But that's not the point. All these guys have a back story that gives them a real life quality and at the end of the day, you just want to hug and comfort them. Trust me. Tears will be shed. And hearts will be broken, for you want ALL of them to end up with Sarasa.

c.) The protagonist is freakin' awesome. She's so true and actually develops. She makes mistakes like you and me. You can connect to her. She has her insecurities and her "NOOOOOOOOOO, DON'T DO THAT" moments, but that's what life is about and that is what is so special about this manga. It's not just a war against good and bad. It reads deeper and lets you see the perspective of others. Not everybody sees the leader's way as the right way. Plus, she can fight? CHA-CHING! But anyways, SHE IS FREAKING AWESOME

Ahem- as I was saying - I recommend this manga to those of you who love reverse harems and can withstand more fighting than romance (it comes later, but we've got to keep our priorities straight) and those who can hang on to a 100+ chapter manga. I prefer longer mangas so that I can enjoy it longer.

That's pretty much it. Look forward to more review from me!

P. S. "Demons" by Imagine Dragons is practically tailored for Shuuri. You will understand what I mean. I was just listening to it randomly when I was reading the later chapters of Basara and...the water works turned on by itself. I swear. But listen when you understand what I mean. Or just listen to the song. The lyrics and music is great anyway.

Kamisama Hajimemashita

So Kamisama Hajimemashita or even sometimes Kamisama kiss is basically about a girl who was poor and then her dad left her and then she was kicked out of her apartment and bullied in school cuz of it. She saves a man from a dog and then tells him about her problems. Then he says "Would you like to stay at my place?" So he gives her the directions on a piece of paper then kisses her forehead thus giving her his proof of being a god deiety.

In the anime there are 13 questions. In the manga i think there are 100 right now but i still think it's on going.(I haven't finished it yet so...)

Main:

Momozono Nanami- She is the main girl of the story. She is the human land god of Mikage shrine(which was named for the previous land god, Mikage) She gets used to the demons and rules. And she made a contract with Tomoe the "pet" of the land god. Also she is one of the three people who believe humans and demons can get along.

Boys:

Tomoe- Considered the dog of Mikage. Tomoe kinda has a mean personality but I just think he's a tsundere. He lives to serve and protect his god.He is a hard worker but will relax whenever he gets the free time. When ever some guys tries to win Nanami over or kidnap her guess who's gonna get mad and go on a rampage? Yup this guy.

Kurama- The dark angel singer. He is an idol which every girl loves except for Nanami after she sees how mean Kurama is. Kurama is not an angel he is a tengu or man eating goblin. He will take any chance of winning Nanami over whenever Tomoe is around.

Mizuki- Orginally he belonged to a different god, a water god, but his god died. He kidnapped Nanami after she saved him when he was in snake form. He also left a mark bound for marriage on Nanami when she saved him. One of Mizuki's talents is turning into a snake, riding his snakes, and making good sake(japanese wine). When Mizuki kidnapped Nanami Tomoe came after him wanting to kill him.

Others:

Mikage- The land god before he gave it to Nanami. He saved Tomoe a long time ago and Tomoe became his pet. Since Mikage has a strong fear of dogs for some reason. Mikage got out of his contract(Idk what to call it) but he doesn't actually leave. He just stays in the shadows and watches Nanami and Tomoe secretly(Not in a stalkerish way or perverted).

Yukiji- A lover from Tomoe's past. I don't know much about her since she's not in the anime much and i havem't gotten very far on the manga but i just know that Tomoe loved he a long time ago. Tomoe would do anything for Yukiji.

Otohiko- One word to describe him? Gay! Not that i hate him cause of that. I just didn't think the author would put a gay dude in a straight anime. Anyways... Otohiko is the wind god. In the anime he sends out something evil. In the manga he tests Nanami by putting her in sleep and making Tomoe fall in love with her and makes him leave so she has to continue a festival by herself.

Himemiko- A princess that's a fish. She comes to Nanami to welcome the new land god and to ask for help. She wanted Nanami to help with her love problem.Himemiko fell in love with a little boy 10 years ago(the boy is now 18 ) and Nanami helps her. They are like best friends despite being human and demon.
There's more that i haven't mentioned but I'd like it if the reader find out themself. Hope you enjoyed my post.

Uta no Prince-Sama!

There are 2 seasons and a 3rd one is on it's way in August I believe.

Plot: Haruka Nanami is a girl who has wanted to be a composer to hopefully write music for her idol. She lived with her grandma in the country side because of her condition. She has a sickness that can make her faint easily. She enrolls into Saotome Academy and there she will meet her princes. Her roommate and friend is Tomochika Shibuya. There are two classes with her princes; Class A and Class S. Class S is the best class in the school; and each class is taught by an idol. At the end of the year she will partner up with an idol and hopefully debut together. However she has 6 guys wanting to pair up with her and romance is forbidden in the school. Will she pick one and graduate? Or will romance possibly bloom?

Main Girl:

Nanami Haruka- She has short light amber hair and greenish yellow eyes that looked glazed over. She is a composer and plays piano. When she first came to the school she didn't know how to read or write music. She studied hard to learn and then learned how to be confident when playing for others. She meets 3 boys from A class and 3 from S class.

Boys:

Ittoki Otoya- A redheaded boy with red eyes with a happy personality. Otoya is an idol and came to the school to be an idol and make people happy with his love of music. He grew up living in an orphanage but he has a really happy, hyper, fun, kind, sweet and caring personality. He is in class A and plays guitar. He also seems like an energetic puppy. :) He is roommates with Tokiya.

Natsuki Shinomiya- A tall blond haired boy who likes cute things. When he first saw Haruka, he thought she was as cute as his puppy Elizabeth. He's childhood friends with Syo and is in A class. However... Natsuki has a secret. When his glasses come off his second personality comes out called Satsuki. Satsuki is evil and is all of the bad emotions that Natsuki has held in since he was little. To get rid of Satsuki you need to put the glasses on him and Natsuki will return. Natsuki also likes cooking but it's deadly and has a nice personality. He plays the viola and Satsuki composes music. He is roommates with Syo.

Masato Hijirikawa- His and Ren's families are in a rivalry and he was childhood friends with Ren. He grew up with traditional Japanese clothing and green tea. He is also a perfectionist. He is in class A and plays piano. He is also very quiet. He is roommates with Ren.

Ren Jinguji- A womanizer with long hair. He comes from a rich family and wants to be an idol like how his mom was one. He is in class S and is a very big flirt. He calls girls little lambs and thinks he is a wolf. He plays the saxophone. He is roommates with Masato.

Kurusu Syo- Syo is the shortest one in the group and acts manly. He has very good fashion sense and is almost always wearing a fedora(a type of hat worn mostly by men). He is in class S and plays the violin. Syo is childhood friends with Natsuki and protects him from Satsuki as much as possible. Syo has a twin brother named Kaoru and has a fear of heights(Natsuki's fault). He also gets dressed up by Natsuki but it is either cutesy stuff or girls clothes. He is also roommates with Natsuki(unfortunately).

Ichinose Tokiya- He is like a social outcast on purpose. He is a perfectionist but his songs have no heart(passion) in them. He is also the already popular Hayato but at school he claims to be the twin brother of Hayato. His personality can be cold but eventually he warms up a bit. He only sings and doesn't play an instrument. He is roommates with Otoya.

Aijima Cecil- The mysterious prince that we meet while the school is at the beach on vacation. He seems to be under a spell which eventually breaks and he becomes human again. He is also the black cat Kupuru, that Haruka has. In real life he is a prince from a place called Agnapolis. He is afraid of water and fish because the data says that Agnapolis is a desert. He believes in muses and is also magical.
There are more guys but they don't fall in love with Haruka. Also I sometimes don't like Haruka because she is super dense. But other than that. Hope you will enjoy Uta no Prince-sama!!  :)

Note: Uta no Prince-Sama! is also an otome game and manga so I'll group this review in those two categories. -KisekiRose

Later she finds out she will become Queen of Arcadia.

Later in the anime he tells Angelique his purifying abilities are not natural and were a product of a science experiment on himself. His weapon of choice is a gun.

Note

Just in case you didn't know, not all the blogs I post are written by myself. I'm posting all the reviews that are on the original website (all the ones that deal with reverse harem or are really notable) and that includes the ones that my friends have written. I will credit them by writing "-AkamiKuromi" or "-RandomOtaku". If the review is left empty, I have written it by myself or have forgotten. That's all!

Kingdom Days

The first one is the game while the second is the cheats. Please read the following below first. Thank you.:)

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/547463
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100905185056AAqpKZU

Hey guys here's a dating sim for ya. Anyways there are 5 guys and you have 30 days to learn about the one you want to learn about. Also there are cheats but I recommend using them only for the energy so you don't have to sleep a lot. You will be given 15 points for your charm, wisdom, and magic. Also it's best if you use cheats to raise them.

Your character's original name is Rose but you may change it if you would like. In this game you were originally in an orphanage but then found out you were a princess of a kingdom. Then one day your kingdom was attacked so you and your servant Lewis had to escape to the next kingdom. You meet the king, Joseph, and he will allow you to stay if you marry him.

Now on to the boys. As I stated earlier there are 5 boys to fall in love with. Find about their past and go on dates with them. You may also give them gifts to find out their likes and dislikes. When you have completed the entire course of a boy. On the last day you will be able to marry him if you would like. On dates give them gifts and talk to them. When you get 3/3 you may finally kiss him.

The first is the king. King Joseph as I mentioned earlier. On the first day if you try to go to him castle you will find that it is empty. The only way you can talk to him is if you skip to day 15. Then you will be able to talk to him. Likes: Books, Wine and Tea

Next is Lewis, your servant. In the prologue he is the kid from the other side of the fence. You learn about his past and a bit about yours. He will be located in the house near yours. Likes: Candy, Tea and Books

Third is Ian. He is located in the windmill and do not be surprised but he is part wolf. You learn about a bit of his interests and history. Likes: Paint, Bread and Wine

Fourth is Daniel. He is in the blacksmith. When you first talk to him he won't talk much but the he will start to talk to you even more. Likes: Tea, Glass Angel, and Bread

Finally is Ferris.(I know. Weird name right?) Anyways he is located in the forest in a coffin. And to answer your question yes he is a vampire and no he does not sparkle. To unlock him you must work(or put in a cheat) enough to  buy a glass angel. Then once you do go to the church and at the very top there is a heart. Click on it and the floating thingy will put it in the heart then he will be unlocked. Likes: Wine, Roses, and
Candy

Finally on day 30 which is your last day. You will be getting married. You may marry 1 boy or you can return to your kingdom if you would like. Or if your like me you use cheats to get every boy's story and marry each one to see which one you like best. Anyways best of luck to you and have fun!

My Candy Love

Hey guys! This is the first review for Games so celebrate!

Anyway, this is actually a French game called Amour Sucré that has been translated by a group of awesome people. It's free and has up to 17 episodes currently in the English version. It'll change though. Every episode has a different problem so the summary is really just an introduction this time.
My Candy Love/Amour Sucré Summary: You play as a transfer student that transfers to Sweet Amoris or something and has a chance to date a guy. There's this Love'o'Meter thing that tells you how much the guy likes you. Your goal is to get enough points to earn that date. The guy with the most points is the one you're going out with. And remember THE OUTFIT MAKES THE DATE. If you wear the wrong outfit, the guy won't date you and you won't get the CG. You don't date the same guy in every episode unless you want to. And there are guides to help you. I will post them when I'm not lazy on a later date.

Guys-MAIN: And your dating prospects are *drumroll*
  • Nathaniel: He's such a goody-two-shoes. You know, the church going boy who helps grandmas walk across the street. Thus, the name Nathaniel. Who calls any Nathaniel by Nathaniel anyway? Not that there's anything wrong but still... Anaywaysees, he's the student council president of Sweet Amoris and has this bitchy sister named Pearl or something. No. Wait. It's Amber. See? I was close... So back to Nathaniel...well, find out more about him if you're interested. I'm not spolin' nuthing. However, he's blond and kind of cute...Like sweet cute. I could pinch his cheeks! But then I would be a grandma... I'M NOT THAT OLD YET! TAT
  • Castiel: The bad boy. He's so bad, he dyed his hair red. Cuz that's badass. Yeah. Not really. I don't think he's quite that good-lookin when compared to Lysander but his personality makes up for it. He has a dog named Demon (more badassness) and is a lead guitarist in the school's secret band. And don't get discouraged. There's a lot more behind that bad boy facade. Enough before I start spoilin'. By the way, he's Lysander's best buddy.
  • Lysander: The mysterious one. Lysander comes later on in the game so don't freak if you don't see him. He likes poetry and Victorian era clothing (I like him already). He is also the lead vocalist in the band with Castiel and writes the lyrics (I like him even more). His brother is that guy in the clothing shop. You know that hot guy dancing with fabric at the bottom of the shopping page? That's him. Lysander also has a secret tattoo. What does it look like? That's for me to know and you to find out.

There are some other guys you can date for an episode or more but I'm going to save it for next time or something. Oh, and because I love you guys so much, here are the guides for Nathaniel's and Castiel's routes. I haven't found a decent or awesome Lysander walkthorough yet so if you see one, tell me.

Koi no Himitsu Kichi

I recently found this manga, so the review is fresh off the bat! Or something along the lines... But beware. This manga is more like a love triangle rather than a reverse harem. I mean, she still has three guys around her, but only two show devotion(?).

Koi no Himitsu Kichi Manga Summary: Aisu is a daughter of the Outori financial combine family. She loves Hiro at first sight, who is a friend of her childhood friend Ren, and she enrolls at the same high school that Hiro attends. However, her father forces her to get married, so she explodes in anger...!

Physical Qualities: The scans were definitely high quality. Not shabby or blurry. It was as clean as the mangas that you buy in stores. The typesetting was okay. It was mostly good, but it could've been a little better. All in all, this manga is one of the lucky ones!

Graphics: It was pretty good. Not as beautiful as some of the other mangas that I read, but I liked it. The protagonist was really cute looking and the guys were good looking too.

Protagonist: Aisu did what most girls would do in her place...Minus the running away from home, going to a guy's house (he's a friend but still guy). She's cute, but has her annoying times too.

Bishounen: They weren't exactly bishies. :( I mean they look hot, but not hot. Like smoking hot. Not really any stereotypes except for the guy in the friend zone. Which is good too. They take on a new look and show what true bros would do.

Plot: The typical arranged-marriage-and-run-away-from-home plot. Aisu lives with her friend and his friends, one whom happens to be her crush. A series of events happen and keep you guessing who is Aisu going to choose, her childhood friend or her first love?

Overall Review: My favorite part about this manga was that it kept you guessing who Aisu is going to choose. Not many mangas do that to you because most of the time, it's obvious. And I liked the way the mangaka showed the bond between bros. FRIENDSHIP FOREVER!!! This is a good manga to read if you're just browsing. It's not exactly jerking emotions from you and it's not something I would personally read again. But you never know. Things might surprise you...

SLH-Stray Love Hearts

Hi! Welcome to Reverse Harem Revolution. Now, let's get started!

Stray Love Hearts Manga Summary:
On the eve of her sixteenth birthday, Kozue Hiyoki is visited in her dreams by a man who steals her heart- literally! Determined to find him and retrieve her stolen heart, Hiyoki enrolls in the S-Hall dormitories of St. Nazareth Academy, but quickly realizes that its residents are not at all like she expected... For starters, they are all guys.

This was the manga that got me into reverse harem, so, for me, this is THE manga. Yosh! Let's start analyzing~!

Physical Qualities: The scanlation group that did this was one of the top scanlation groups. I have yet to see something shabby from them. The page quality was high. The work the cleaners put was astounding. The pages look very crisp. Typesetting looked really good too. You could read it easily. You may see mistakes (like grammar, spelling, punctuation), but over all this is one of the best qualities I've seen hands down.

Graphics: The art that the mangaka drew was absolutely beautiful! You've seen the cover. Hiyoki-chan looks adorable and the guys...well, what do you think?

Protagonist: Hiyoki-chan was a very kind person, but I don't really think she was physically all that strong. She will go on about how her heart hurts and that can get annoying if you can't tolerate it. However, her redeeming qualities were how she helped the boys and how dense she is. I don't remember all that much from the manga and I should probably read it over again.

Bishounen: We finally get to the bishies! The sterotypes in this manga include:
  • That Jerk - Cain is the jerk of the story. You know, the one that you love and hate at the same time because he's so rude but so hot. Yeah, that one. I mean, he's gets mellow towards the end, but that doesn't make up for his rudeness...sometimes.
  • The Support Beam - Ren-kun is the undeniably the reliable one. The one who can do no wrong...if you don't look at the beginning. He's the first guy that Hiyoki-chan gets to know well and almost always supports her. He's a very hard worker too.
  • The Emo Dude - Kuga-kun is a man teen of few words. He writes songs and sings in a band too. He is extremely handsome (in my opinion) and very sweet when he warms up to you. Or in this case, Hiyoki.
  • The Stupid Athlete - Because that's who Gai-senpai truly is. He's very cute and very good for comic relief. Not to mention, he loves sweets. And absolutely hates studying. As I said, very good for comic relief, especially when paired up with the hot nerd.
  • The Hot Nerd - Yamashina-senpai...is that demon person who could be the devil student council president but thankfully is not. He's the treasurer. He's very odd and particular about certain things. Of course, he has to ALWAYS wear glasses.
  • The Loli-Shouta - Asukai-senpai is the ultimate shouta. He is ADORABLE!!! And he loves cute stuff. He's the sweetest of all the boys and so cute! His comic relief partner is the womanizer.
  • The Womanizer - Girl fangirl over Kitoh-senpai. His attempt at helping ends up sounding like attempts at...flirting. Or womanizing. However, he's very generous.

Plot: I'm not spoiling anything, but you will feel sympathy. Why do I always want to give the bad guys a hug?

Overall Review: The story was cute and romantic. Comic relief was a lovely addition. I even read the author's page. It was very compelling and the guys were very drool worthy. The art was to die for and any reverse harem lover has to read this. I would totally read this again. Maybe I should and update this.

Hey guys! KisekiRose here. I'm creating this blog to see if the format is better when you're trying to access recommendations on our original site. It might work on mobile better or it might not. Idk. But if it works out, yays! I'll try to transfer the reviews here later but right now, I have stuff to do. Hope I can update soon.
